Parmentier aux Légumes (Shepherd's Pie)

We made this meal about a month ago. We've had a busy few months, so I have been very delinquent with the blog! Everyone really seemed to like the shepherd's pie, so I would definitely make it again!

Bubbas helped with the first steps and Chickie helped with the end steps! Bubbas is thinking of becoming a tomato paste model!

I got the cute ramekins at the dollar store.

Chickie mainly ate the cheesy mashed potatoes. She did actually try some of the meat mixture and seemed like it, though, again only took a few small bites. Of corse she loved the mashed potato top! The rest of us really enjoyed the whole dish!

Here is the video for this meal. The kids each wanted to do some videography, so there is a lot of taste testing at the end! Also, I'm not sure how the video managed to freeze on that lovely shot of me, but somehow that's what happened when I uploaded it!

Chickie also seems to be warming more to sweet potato fries. We've continued to make them and she will eat a few here and there. It has been such a long road with her selective eating and exclusively beige/brown diet (if you don't include artificial colouring!), that this really feels like a victory for me!
